Hello!
Thank you for visiting my Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraising page. BBBS is a non-profit organization that seeks to improve the lives of children facing adversity. They accomplish this goal by facilitating and matching adult volunteers, "Bigs", with children in local communities, "Littles". The end result is positive connection that provides mentorship to the children of today who will grow and develop into the adults of tomorrow.
I was introduced to BBBS's through coworkers who help raise donations every year for the Kansas BBBS March fundraising event, "For Kids Sake". As part of the event, numerous teams at my company (and other companies in Kansas) compete to see who can raise the most donations. In addition to being Bigs themselves, my coworkers commitment and belief in the work of BBBS has inspired me to join the cause in helping fundraise for the month of March.
Please help me support Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. I have set my goal at $1,000 because that is the average cost for BBBS to match a Big and a Little for one year. This process involves making sure the Big and Little are a good fit for each other, as well screening everyone who applies to volunteer as a Big. Every dollar I raise will advance Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters's great cause!
Together, we can make a difference!
