Please help me support Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every FRIDAY, I will look at my fundraising page to determine how much money was raised that week (previous Friday through Thursday).
That Friday evening, I will complete the following, based on the amount raised that week:
$100 -10 push-ups with a 45lb plate on my back (I am unable to do even one push-up with 45lbs currently)
$200 - 20 dumbbell curls with 20lbs in each hand (currently, I can only do 10 with 15lbs in each hand)
$300 - 30 goblet squats with 65lbs (currently, I can only do 10 with 60lbs)
$400 - 40seconds plank hold with 45lbs on my back (I can do 60s but only with 15lbs)
$500 - 50 jump squats (I don't do cardio and haven't done these in 8 years)
If we exceed $500, I will hold a wall sit with 90lbs on my lap. I will hold the wall sit for 60s for every $100 over $500.
If one higher "tier" is achieved, I will do all of the lower tier exercises, as well! If we get to $300-$399, I get to do 10 pushups with weight, 20 curls, 30 squats... etc. These tiers are in addition to my current workouts AND are workouts I generally don't enjoy and am currently unable to perform. Not only is my body suffering, but so is my ego - all for the kids!
