Benefiting Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Harvey County
Sam Davidson was a beloved son, brother, husband, and friend. Tragically at the age of 33, Sam passed away in 2021 following a courageous 3-year battle with cancer.
Though an avid fan of all sports, Sam’s favorite was golf. He loved the camaraderie, competition, and simply being outdoors on a beautiful course. A perfect day would find Sam on the links, laughing and teasing in a foursome, while subtly planning to win the game despite the antics.
The Swing For Sam Memorial Golf Tournaments have honored Sam’s legacy in wonderful ways. Maximum player registration, friendly competition, and spirited gatherings, created amazing events. In addition, generous charitable donations have been raised, surpassing $87,000, including a $23,000 donation to Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Harvey County in 2024! What a comfort that Sam continues to be cherished through support of organizations doing important work in our community. We are deeply grateful.
